About Us
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are active in several counties in NJ and PA.
Our Inspiration
Treasure is one of the inspirations behind Treasure’s Hope. Treasure is a pitbull mix puppy who was found in a garbage bag curbside in Philadelphia in January 2012. Treasure had a horrific case of demodex mange, was emaciated and had severe hip dysplasia and many other issues due to backyard breeding and the cruelty she endured. Today, after a long journey, Treasure enjoys life with her mom and her siblings as a special-abled pup. It is Treasure’s Hope that someday no dog will go through what she did.
Our Mission
Treasure’s Hope was created to show that special needs pets can be happy loving pets and lead full and happy lives with their people.
We help special needs bully breeds, double merles and all breeds through medical funding, promotion for adoption and anything else we can do to help them find forever homes.
Our animal welfare initiative focuses on the pet owner community and increasing pet retention.
We provide medical funding to special needs pitbulls, double merles and all breeds who have special needs, (medical or behavioral) so that rescues can pull them from high kill shelters.
We photograph, create local meet and greet events and use social media to promote special needs adoptables.
